Accounting

Accountant
- The Osthoff Resort is currently looking for a Full Time Accountant. This unique resort is a 245-suite hotel, with two restaurants, and over 20,000 square feet of Banquet & Catering space. If you are ambitious and looking for career development, then The Osthoff Resort is an excellent company for you. This position requires you to stay up to date on evolving tax codes, changes in reporting guidelines and industry trends. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
• Summarize daily cash and revenue transactions from all resort departments to process journal entries.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Assist the Accounting Manager by assuring ownership of proper accounting controls.
• Handle customer resolution of disputed charges on credit cards.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience along with AP/AR experience.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Great Plans (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities for Accounting/Payroll Specialist
Accounting Specialist
• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support accounting managers.
• Compile and sort invoices and checks.
• Process bills for payment.
• Input invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records.
• Assist the Accounting Manager by assuring ownership of proper accounting controls.

• Perform AR/AP process in a timely manner.
Payroll Specialist
• Highly detail oriented. Collecting and verifying spreadsheets for payable time.
• Entering employee information and payroll data into the system.
• Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll.
• Processing new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
• Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Maintaining and updating payroll records as necessary.
• Preparing periodic payroll reposts
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Qualifications for Accounting/Payroll Specialist
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 2-4 years of accounting/Payroll experience along with AP/AR experience.

- Cosmetologist

The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Cosmetologists with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various salon services including haircuts, color treatments, styling services, manicures, and pedicures designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.
Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin's Cosmetology Board, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude. A comfort level with selling salon products and promoting spa services is an essential function of this position along with the ability to assist with maintaining overall appointment scheduling. This position requires the individual to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach forward, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Join our professional team as a part-time Massage Therapist at the award-winning, full service Aspira Spa, located within The Osthoff Resort. This Position requires the ability to provide a complete range of traditional and signature massage and body treatments which are designed to soothe the mind, body, and soul. Massage therapists must embrace and understand the benefits of massage therapy and provide our guests with an exceptional guest experience. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively. Additionally, the ideal candidate will offer flexible availability. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- Spa Concierge Associate
- The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Concierge Associate. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include greeting clients, promoting and explaining spa services and retail products to clients, embracing and promoting the Aspira Spa philosophy and culture through tours and rituals, attending to guests and their needs, light maintenance and housekeeping of spa and working within a team environment. Qualified candidates must have a flexible schedule including day, evening and weekend hours, a strong customer service orientation, and computer skills are required. Candidates must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
- Bartenders
- The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team at Otto's Restaurant and Concourse. Our Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent beverage service to our guests while fostering a relaxing atmosphere. Position requires the ability to interact with guests, while efficiently taking orders, and serving food and drinks. In addition, position will be responsible maintaining a clean bar and for restocking and replenishing of bar inventory and supplies including glassware, liquor, beer, wine and cut fruit and garnishes. Qualified candidates for this position should have prior bartending experience and excellent knowledge of wines and wine service, beer, and mixed drinks. Exceptional customer-service skills and an outgoing personality are required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and able to obtain a license to serve alcohol. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule.

Evening Reservations Associate
- The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking an Evening Reservation Associate. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities include assisting the Reservation Manager with group contracts, coordinating group room reservations with group contacts. This position will also work very closely with all aspects of the resort. Qualified candidates must be proficient with the computer, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and should be knowledgeable of the local area. Our Reservation Associate will answer guest’s questions and describe the rooms, amenities, and rates while assisting the guest in booking their resort reservation. The hours for this role are 1:00pm-9pm weekdays and 12:00pm-8pm on weekends.

Front Desk Associate
- The Osthoff Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing AAA Four-Diamond guest service. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, making resort reservations, cash handling, and answering phones. The ideal candidate should have a high degree of professionalism, strong customer service skills as well as a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Previous Front Desk Service experience is ideal, but not required. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for a period of up to eight hours in addition to occasional reaching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Reservation Sales Associate
- The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a part-time Reservation Sales Associate. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include assisting the Reservation Manager with group contracts, coordinating group room reservations with group contacts and working with the Front Office department to assist in reservations and occasional front desk duties. This position will also work very closely with all aspects of the resort.
Qualified candidates must be proficient with the computer, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and should be knowledgeable of the local area. Our Reservation Associate will answer guest’s questions and describe the rooms, amenities, and rates while assisting the guest in booking their resort reservation. The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships both with internal and external customers, assist in managing all reservation sales activities to maximize revenue potential for the resort and implement and maintain quality standards for the Reservations Department. An ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Gift Shoppe Associate
- The Osthoff Resort’s Gift Shoppe is now hiring a part-time friendly, outgoing, customer focused, team player with the ability to run a register, balance a cash drawer and maintain a clean, well-stocked shoppe. This is a year round position that requires day, evening, and/or weekend shifts.

Houseperson
- The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Houseperson. This is a part time position, and the Houseperson position is responsible for making beds, working on miscellaneous tasks, handling trash, collecting and transporting linens to our in-house laundry facility, maintaining the cleanliness of an assigned area within the Resort and training new associates. This position requires the associate to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, and involves bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling.
The ideal candidate for this position should be able to multi-task, and work with others, as well as independently, within a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must have a flexible schedule with day and weekend availability.

Night Runner
- The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Night Runner. The Osthoff Resort's Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards, are essential functions of this position. The Night Runner position is responsible for cleaning of public areas in the Resort, providing housekeeping assistance to guest suites as requested, and stocking, maintaining, and preparing the housekeeping department for the following day. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task, and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be available to work a schedule including nights and weekends between the hours of 4pm and Midnight. Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, having the ability to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling.

The Public Area Attendant position is responsible for maintaining public area restrooms, sitting areas, and hallways. This position requires the associate to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, and involves bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others, as well as independently, within a fast-paced environment.
